In 1950 Angela and Matteo Contesini founded one of the first companies of “sculptures for window dressing” in Rome. The experience of a seamstress and a sculptor gave life to products with artistic and manufacturing value, which immediately stood out on the market. Over the years they directed their research towards the creation of a perfect support for tailoring work: in the material, in the upholstery and in the lines. Hence the choice of paper mache, cotton and an in-depth study of the fit.
